Haar

A haary / dreich day that has not cleared at all.  I collected some ware for the compost heap and then retired to the shed.  CMC asked me to service her penny-farthing.  I took the opportunity to remove the stabilisers.  CMC has two Dawes bikes and is talking of a third for her birthday.  She’s ordered some EPO off EBay but has decided to burn all the fan letters she received from Marco Pantani – he was too demanding.  All he wanted was a signed photo; albeit it was of Bibs.

Had a mid-afternoon meeting with folk online to discuss a redesign of the Hoy Heritage website.  An archive tape has surfaced of Jimmac is his CB days.  I think Melvyn Bragg must commission a special.
