Convoy

Beautiful sunny day today in which I went for a run then cycled 8 miles. We then had dinner in the garden helped by the hens and a bottle of red to wash it down.

Out in the evening to the bottom of the road to clap for the convoy of local delivery lorries, this one is the butchers van driven by one of our neighbours. They drove from the care home to the local hospital with sirens going and lights flashing to say thanks to all the carers and NHS workers. At the end the church bells rang, I was standing under them and we all clapped. Such a good community spirit to mark the end of the 8pm Thursday clapping and the beginning of lockdown easing.

Meanwhile back at home KK decided he could improve his hairstyle by taking off the guard from the clippers and shaving most of his head. See extra for photo of him before and maybe tomorrow will be what he looks like now. Hopefully we will only have lockdown once and it will have grown by the time he needs to go anywhere as it is now really drastic.
