Canna Lily

This afternoon’s long walk was still local, one that didn’t involve trains, buses or ferries. We’re running out of directions, so finally headed west along the railway line, then followed the Hawthorne Canal for a while and back through Petersham Park. Next Friday, there will be a pub or club at the finish line.

There were lots of bougainvillea, and one orchid in need of a new home, but today’s flower is in the courtyard out the back. I’m not 100% sure it’s a canna lily.
