Thinking of you

This mornong Helen and I went to see my mum at the bereavement centre. The ladies were lovely and explained what to expect. I stayed a few minutes, that was all I needed. I had said goodbye in the hospital.

We got the verbal medical certificate today confirming she died of kidney failure brought on by the sepsis which was a result of her ulcerated legs. This has gone to the registry office who we will speak with on Monday.

Also, we took the clothes we want mum to be cremated in to the funeral directors. I had forgotten her hand warmer gloves that she wore all the time. I will drop those of next week.

A bouquet arrived today from my cousins in Scotland. They made me cry.
