Dawn at Whitewash Head

A friend & I, plus Missy, ventured out at first light, to see what we could capture with our cameras. This view, looking south-east from Whitewash Head, shows Godley Head and the bays beyond. It was wonderful seeing the sun rising out of the sea, but there was no green flash, because of some low cloud. It was easy having Missy with us, which I’m relieved about. She’s been sleeping it all off ever since we got back home.

L. & I went for a coffee at a waterfront café after our walk, looking out at the beautiful sunny day, with paddle boarders out on the water. It didn’t seem as though we were in the midst of a pandemic.

Another zero Covid-19 new case day today; the 8th in a row. There’s only one active case remaining. We’re up to day 17 in Level 2, so we’re part of the way through the 2nd round of possible new cases, with there being 14 days in each stage.
