Watering the garden

Since March we've hardly had any rain. My garden is getting dryer by the day. Living very  close to the Wadden Sea, the deeper soil in my garden mainly consists of heavy (blueish) clay that stays moist for a long time, but once it's dry it's like cement and very very hard.
And because I like a fresh green lawn, every now and again I'm watering it.
Today I started with that procedure. Normally I do that in the evening, but I read somewhere that watering in the early morning is better to avoid mold and diseases.
Let's try it and see what happens.

For the rest I had a quiet day, slowly gliding into the long Pentecost-weekend. (Pinksteren in dutch)
