Parched

Spent a fair bit of time weeding and watering the plants today! They're all dry and the thin soil is just dust and hard lumps. May brave the shops tomorrow to get something to mulch with. Couldn't face them today as I'm guessing 50% of folk were buying gardening supplies while the other 50% were enjoying the outdoors.

Hope to sleep better tonight. Last couple of nights have been interrupted by a gang of fox cubs carousing.
