Escape

One of the first things I wanted to do when lockdown was eased was to climb a hill and on such a beautiful morning what else could we do? About 5 miles drive is what we're allowed and the starting point was exactly 5 miles from home.
It was so good to be out and get up the hills that have featured in so many pics recently though, unfortunately, it was a bit hazy. Quite a number of other people seemed to have the same idea but there was plenty of room for all.
The extra is rather bright, both broom and gorse are in full bloom.
Some shopping on the way home and gardening in the afternoon. I did sit on the patio for a while but the neighbours 2 doors down were having a barbecue with music and it was getting rather loud. They did have visitors but I don't think there were more than 1 family group.
Started another jigsaw this evening.
