Social Distancing

Now we can drive as far as we like to exercise, we drove to Sedbergh, 15 miles away but still Cumbria,  to walk along a bit of the Dales Way. The main reason though was because friends A & G live in a house bordering the footpath and we had our first real conversation with them since a fish and chips takeaway in the week before lockdown. It was good to have a real chat, Zoom is not the same. More proof of social distancing but not with the sheep, who were surprisingly friendly, here

From Monday we can visit each others gardens. We made plans for Mr P to take G round our local golf course then a BBQ in the garden. What fun,  it will nearly be like normal life.

Day 71
The Daily Briefing announced sport is opening up. Football, tennis, horse racing, Formula 1, cricket, golf, rugby, snooker matches, without spectators will be held and available view on many TV channels. This is to try and prevent the temptation for fans with a Sky subscription to invite their mates round for a beer to watch the match.  This will please Mr P who is too mean to pay for a SkySports or BT Sport subscription and listens to matches on the radio.
Bad news for me but I do have a telly in my "office", some DVDs waiting to be watched and of course loads on catch up TV, so maybe not so bad afterall.
