As if electing a president who is incapable, incompetent, racist, mysogonistic and so many other adjectives wasn't enough.  How could this happen in a country that was built on equality and opportunity?  For far too long we have hidden and subjugated our true feelings if this can happen.  As a family we have been glued to CNN the past couple of evenings in disbelief and horror at the goings on across the country.  The stories that maybe the police officer, who murdered this man in the name of "justice" and condoned the use of true deadly force by himself and his fellow officers, was not actually arrested, that the mug shots don't actually look like the policeman seen in the video depicting this act of violence, is beyond comprehension.  I am sickened and embarrassed and outraged and at the same time proud of those that stand with and for things to change.
