Another day...

... another fly. I did intend to try to photograph a butterfly today but there weren't any in the garden when I was out there, and I didn't travel any further afield than that today! However, there was this fly which let me get quite close. Unfortunately it has an injury... one antenna is missing which looked quite fresh from other photos I took. Still, they don't feel pain in the way that more complex life forms do and it seemed perfectly happy.
