Demoiselles in love

We popped back to the riverbank this morning to watch the damselflies again and were lucky enough to spot a pair mating. On nettles, I might add! There's another photo in Extras, which shows their beautiful wings better.

Last I heard, the fire at Thursley was ongoing with at least another 24 hours of firefighting to be done, and another night away from home for the 14 nearby families that were evacuated. Firefighters from Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex have been working hard to deal with this awful situation which was, almost certainly, caused by someone doing something stupid.
