Top heavy

Five months on, I suddenly remembered I took a picture of the garden in Jan. Feels like a different world....

All that green down the side (bamboo, tasteless fig, ivy) is part of the new elimination plan. The bamboo and stupidly invasive tree on the right were part of the original one.

Early coffee and reading in the garden, walk, light gardening and cooking duties, sit me down, swim with Kate. Six days into our new regime and we were thinking about how very boring the swimming pool will be in comparison.

Now then, June. No bank holidays and no planned days off - this is going to be a struggle!
