The Coral Necklace

Here its a Brown Argus but in France it has the wonderfully apt name of Le Collier de corail (the Coral Necklace). This is another butterfly with a long, and not very distinguished, history of name changes: the Edg'd Brown Argus, the Argus Blue, the Brown Blue, the Black-spot Brown, the Brown Argus Blue .... perhaps illustrating the difficulty in distinguishing it from the female Common Blue.
