Out of skin experience!

Doesn't seem possible that May is almost over! Where has the time gone?!

A lovely sunny day ....... still very windy (not a string wind today E!!)

We headed off for our walk ...... the wood was quiet for once so we had a wander through before heading on up the road!

As usual though we saw more wandering up the road than in the wood!

We were serenaded by the Whitethroat, Goldfinch, Dunnock, Chaffinch, Robin & Blackbird ..... we even managed to actually see them too! We also saw the Yellowhammer .... though it declined to stop & pose!

As we passed the tangle of nettles & brambles we noticed lots of newly hatched ladybirds ....... they were hardening in the sunshine ..... all seven spot ....... managed to get this one along side the pupa it had recently emerged from .... hope you like it :-)

There were also lots of bees buzzing & enjoying the bramble flowers ..... this one stay still long enough for me to get a photo so he deserved to be blipped too ..... hope you like my choices :-)
