Countesswells Forest

It’s been another fantastic day of weather - perhaps our last. The chief took Brodie to meet one of his pals this morning (a great success) allowing me a free morning on my bike. I pedalled out to Countesswells Forest at the west of the city and had an enjoyable ride on dry dusty and deserted trails. This is a blip from the trail looking west over the Aberdeen bypass to the Cairngorms. Although it doesn’t show up on my camera phone Lochnagar at Ballater was visible with still a few patches of snow.
