Walking with friends

Lockdownish Slight relaxation Day 1
We celebrated a slight degree of unlocking in that we can now meet in groups of 6 outdoors. We met our friends G and P whom we last saw in Devon in mid march.
I was expecting a shortish stroll but it turned out to be not far off ten miles. It was hot too.
Came home and drank about a litre of water and had a snooze in the garden!

The Stratford on Avon canal  links the Worcester and Birmingham Canal at King's Norton Junction  with the River Avon at Stratford, and was built between 1793 and 1815, mainly for transporting coal.
This shows Bridge 58. It is one of those canal bridges with a split between the two halves to allow a horse's tow rope to pass through. There were no barges on the canal today because of the Lockdown, so it was very peaceful.
What a lovely day.
