Magical Floating Poppy

I took a poppy photo on my phone in portrait mode and it’s made the stem disappear. Very strange...
Alfie’s girlfriend came over and they sat in the garden for a while then went for a bike ride. Poppy did her school work then pottered around for the rest of the day. She spends so much more time downstairs with us than she used to which is lovely. She perched on the end of my sun lounger and chatted to me which just makes my heart swell. She still won’t let me touch her or hug her but I live in hope.
I divided my time between the garden and the laptop. I spent a lot of time wondering how school was going and how the children were settling back in. I can’t wait to go in on Wednesday!
