Western Harbour at Granton on a beautiful morning after living for a few days 'inside Tupperware' as Anglophile writer Bill Bryson once described it.

The wall is new and on the site of the old western breakwater.

I know it well, a friends dad used to work on a trawler out of Granton and let us muck about on the boat,with pies from Edward's and a coke in The Tap afterwards.

All over the roadway, in the gutters and crunching underfoot everywhere were piles of seashells.
