KITE....

.... of the Black Shouldered variety!

We went for a drive around the Lowlands this arvo, the wind was brisk and freezing, but the late sun made for some nice pics.
We found this Kite way over by the rivers edge just taking in the sun. I was surprised getting any shot due the distance away, and the wind waving it around. They have such piercing eyes.
