Blue!

I love my new kettle! Not only is it a lot faster to boil, but it lights up in blue while working! What's not to like?!

Unfortunately my afternoon hasn't thrilled me quite so much: reluctantly I went online to do my tax return, thinking it would take half an hour and I'd get out for a walk afterwards. No such luck! I would far rather have completed a paper return, as I've done for the past umpteen years. HMRC should recognise that some of us old fogeys prefer the old slate-and-chalk method.

I've had to waive my 'weekend only' alcohol regime and perk up with a cheeky wee G&T.
