Fuchsia

A cold overcast winters day - but no rain, that is forecast for tomorrow, fingers crossed.
Enjoyed a visit from a friend (and part time blipper) this afternoon.  He rang earlier to make sure I was OK with having a visitor, and of course I am.  A great catch up.
On Friday we are cranking up our district craft group and "actual" book club will possibly start next week.
It seems certain that NZ will move into Level 1 next Wednesday (its been 12 days now without any new cases), all social distancing requirements will cease.....life as normal except our borders will remain closed.  There are plenty of people saying why wait for another week, and I really have to agree with them.  Over the weekend, if thousands can march shoulder to shoulder with no regard to the social distancing requirement in our large cities in solidarity with others around the world then why do restaurants, bars and retail have to comply.  Crazy, we need to get our economy working - a week is a long time when a business is only just hanging on.
Because it was almost dark when my visitor left, I grabbed the camera and went to the garden for my blip.  As can be seen it is pretty dark, but the fuchsia glowed in the darkness.
