Hurst Castle

A rainy day here (thank goodness) and so an old picture today.
One I took when I had a drone.  It is of Hurst castle on the south coast (UK).  It was an artillery fort established by Henry VIII between 1541 and 1544. Charles I was held there in the 17th century before his execution.  The site was improved dramatically in the 19th century to guard against a possible invasion from France.
This photo is nearly 4 years old now.  Hell, how time flies.  If you look really closely you can see my brother and I near the arc of the wall at the centre bottom of the photo.
