Woody Wednesday (Wednesday 3rd June 2020)

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars - Oscar Wilde, Lord Darlington, Act III

These starry yellow sedums have been growing in some cast-iron guttering that is being replaced and is now on the ground.
As they were growing several feet above ground without human intervention until now I can only assume they are wildflowers and therefore suitable for Wild Flower Week, with thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting.
Being cooler and fresher than of late, Refna and I had better gardening conditions to enjoy this morning. A wren visited the laurel bush and we enjoyed a honking canada geese flypast as they flew from Bowood Lake to the pools behind the Honeyball recycling centre at Compton Bassett.
