Consequences

Today was a day of consequences following on from discovering yesterday that a freezer had stopped working.
Recovery entailed emptying a chest freezer, sorting out the items that had been there since the ice age and making room for as much as possible from the failed freezer.
Left over was a large pile of fruit: blackberries, apples, blackcurrants, redcurrants and rosehips. Oh and sloes - hence the gin bottle in the background.
By 9.45 this evening we are better off by 18 pounds of what we call hedgerow jelly and a kilner jar of sloe gin.
