West Hoathly

Window pots and hanging baskets are not as blooming marvellous this year as usual, thanks to the prolonged covid lockdown and lengthily closed garden centres. So our kitchen windowsill floral display is not as picturesque as it would normally be by early June.
It’s coming on though, and will soon add to the warm glow of the house bricks. Our Edwardian house is built of West Hoathly bricks, originally produced in the village of the same name in Sussex.
