Relaxed

As I’m sure you know, today is “National Hug Your Cat Day” so it would seem only right to blip our Mittens.
However, it has to be said that friendly though she is, she doesn’t seem wild about being hugged, even at 5a.m. when she wakens me with her gentle miaowing, padding and purring!!!
The government has decided that from 15th June, people using public transport in England have to wear a face covering. They said that this will follow other countries.
Two obvious questions
Why wait until 15th June
And more importantly, why has it not been mandatory before this!!
I think this bunch should be labelled the “ Close the stable door after the horse has bolted” government!!
