Peony

Another waiting game, this is the first time I have seen this peony in flower although I have had the plant for at least a decade. I kept moving it around as it always seemed to be planted in the wrong place. After a couple of years in it’s present position it has repaid my patience and is a good colour.
We had a nice trip out to the Beetham Nurseries and it’s looking so good it was like a garden visit, and very few people there so we spent a while looking at the flower borders in the growing nursery. Some large patches of Nepeta were covered in bumblebees and so we couldn’t resist buying a plant....( see extra).
