You can imagine my surprise when I saw 4 Long-tailed Tits (Aegithalos caudatus) a couple of feet above my head. They were concentrating so hard on the bird feeders that I was able to get my camera and take about a dozen shots before a larger bird flew in and frightened them away. This is the best of the shots I took, they are very fidgitty and lots of blurry shapes and bad angles as a result.

It was a lovely morning warm enough to be outdoors working in the garden, which I did until lunch time - I even sat outside in the sunshine for my morning panad (cuppa!)
