Blood Orange

The German for "blood orange" is the surprisingly recognisable "Blutorange".

I like this as a photo. But that's probably just me.

Saturday has unfolded as Saturdays are wont to do. I have a go at the Suddeutsche Zeitung crossword and I end up up quite cross because they have crap clues like "German composer 5 letters". There are 100s of German composers with names of five letters. And I'll hold off on "Tributary of the Oder" (again lots) and "Croatian Island". However, it is quite good for building vocabulary and it's quite good for getting a, as they say here, Sprachgefühl (a feeling for the language).
