Very New Arrival

The weather today was bright, but a lot cooler.  I had taken the opportunity to tidy up around the base of the garden fences, checking for any issues left over from Storms Brendan, Ciara, Dennis and Jorge, when there was a 'deposit' from above!

Up in the tree above me was this baby Thrush; fresh from its nest.  It didn't know what to make of me.  Its mum did come back to look after it.  This is our first summer without a dog in the garden (the original BentleyTBear) so the young bird's prospects are good.
