Not A Good Day For Mowing

We are back in Connecticut for the next few days.  We have finally found a buyer for our farm, which is the good news.  The bad news is they want to close by July 1st, which gives us one short month to dispose of 20 years worth of living in the house and barns -- this with no tag sales allowed (because of the pandemic).

We arrived yesterday afternoon to find the fields already thigh high with grass which will need to be mowed before we go back to Boston.  Naturally today it is raining, so not a good time for bushwhacking!

An emotional morning spent sorting through old files and photographs -- most of them dealing with dead people or pets.  It's hard to throw things out, but it has to be done.  This too shall pass.
