looking onwards

We walked another section of the South West Coast path today from Seaton to Lyme Regis. 8 miles in under 4 hours and includes a large section of under cliff, a wildlife wilderness. When I last walked this section in the opposite direction on 26th August 2016, I said I wouldn’t walk it again but having now walked 544 miles of official path plus all the extra bits at each end, it didn’t seem half so bad today. The steps weren’t too steep and we met the Council worker who had strimmed a large section only this morning so that was fortunate. The blip shows the view of the next section of path with Golden Cap on the right which we hope to walk next week, weather permitting. The only downer today was that the car park in Lyme Regis where I had planned to park one car was closed and it’s not showing as closed on the website so we had to park in another car park and change the point where we would end the walk, not as far as intended but a bit more to walk next time. We had a couple of very light showers, only enough to make us put our jackets on but they soon came off again.
