Philadelphia Protest

On the right is our country’s Independence Hall. It’s 4pm and The Marchers are just beginning to swell around the corner onto Chestnut St and into the green, eventually filling a full 2 city-block grassy area in front of the Hall. Altho the previous days in Philly were chaotic and difficult including some looting and store destruction, this Thursday’s March was stalwart and triumphant. After a few short speeches and rallying, the group moved thru the streets to City Hall and other historic sites. It is a sad and poignant time to have protests immediate follow the pandemic. But I hope human freedoms are more recognized by all.
