Hanging finch

My neighbour just finished telling me to watch for the finch’s in the crab apple tree and I spotted one hanging from a branch. It’s incredible. They hop around from flower to flower. Who would have known it’s a thing?

I’m so glad I was able to catch this little guy in action because the next day the leaves had fallen off and I haven’t seen another finch since.
