Beautiful, sunny day in the Scottish capital, so an urban hillwalk seemed like a wonderful idea - but it wasn't half baltic!

Firstly a gentle meander up to the ruins of St. Anthony's Chapel, and then the slow, steady ascent to the summit of Arthur's Seat.

Heading back down I took this shot of the luxurious Prestonfield House and it's environs - sitting in one of the upstairs public rooms beside the fire, cognac in hand, would have been most welcome!!!
