Across Loch Linnhe

I came down from Inverness this morning and stopped briefly outside Oban. This was the view looking north west across Ardmucknish Bay and Loch Linnhe to Lismore and the mountains of Ardnamurchan.

There was snow on the A9 at the Slochd and the temperature even in Glendaruel has dropped several degrees today. Back to clear and crisp winter, I hope, rather than the dreich wet we have endured all week.
