Back to Waddesdon

Annie was straight on the National Trust website when tickets were made available a week or so back. Waddesdon Manor is close to us so is usually is a regular place to visit so it was great to be able to visit again today. There is plenty of space to socially distance plus ticket numbers had clearly been well controlled. The result was the grounds were the quietest we'd ever seen. Perhaps also the threat of thunderstorms influenced that but we manged to avoid getting caught in the rain and just missed it (see the extra) as it is seemed to circulate the estate.

Back home, a batch of lemon drizzle cup cakes have been produced in true lockdown baking style.
