Swan family

We had a delightful early morning walk round Birnie and Gadden Lochs this morning now that the car park has reopened. It was lovely and quiet  although these swans with 4 cygnets were blocking the path and we had to  make a slight detour into the bushes to get past the very protective male.
Lovely view of the Lomond hills as we walked ( extra) and lots of wonderful  bird song .
