I finished this little project yesterday evening. 

Clive (& the care home staff) are in a state of shock.

After sitting with her, gently talking to her and stroking her face for hours, she started to fidget. Clive went to get someone.  Then MiL sat up and said she needed to spend a penny.

The staff said the doctor will be very surprised! Flipping heck, so many ups and downs this year.

Clive is off to see his brother now. The first time since leaving hospital.  I'm looking after Hetty. The Forest of Dean is just a bit too far to expect her to tolerate the car. She will expect a 10 minute drive at the most.

The grass was damp this morning but still no real rain. I plan to garden, do a food shop and give Hetty a 2nd walk whilst Clive is out.
