Lockdown day 75

6.6.2020 Today should have been mine and Hugh's wedding day

It was very surreal thinking about what would have been and of course only a global pandemic would stop us getting married!
We were feeling a bit down but still wanted to mark the occasion and try and enjoy the day best we could. We made some decorations, had a walk in the sunshine and did a video call cake cutting with some family.
We received lots of messages, flowers etc which really brightened up a difficult day and it meant a lot

Today wasn't our day but a future wedding will happen when the world has healed and we look forward to better days coming.

A little phrase I heard mentioned that helps -
