Scar House Reservoir and Dam

Fabulous walking around these fells and the views over the incredible dam wall is amazing. This remote reservoir just outside Kettlwell was built to serve the emerging city of Bradford during cotton mill days and the Victorian architecture and engineering amongst these forbidding hills never ceases to impress me .
See extras for view of the dam wall with Great Whernside in background. It's near the lovely little town / village of Pately Bridge which is a lovely spot once things reopen!
