I bought a new jacket! 

I’m a bit funny with coats. I’ve never had a collection the way some do but tend to wear one until it wears out and then reluctantly get another to repeat the pattern.

But ever since I was 25 I have longed for the perfect spring jacket. The story isn’t all that interesting but it involved a French friend who bought a jacket that I fell in love with, but could never afford as a graduate student. She said that she thought the jacket would probably look better on me, but it never came to pass...

Now I have a beautiful spring jacket and I’m looking forward to many adventures together!
