Sonic - at last!

We knew we had a hedgehog in the garden but have seen it just the once, late at night and then only as shadow. Tonight, at 19:30 whilst watching a recording of Gardeners World over dinner, we spotted him walking casually across the grass. I reached for the camera only to find it was the right lens but no camera body attached!!!! Ali ran to get the Nikon. By the time I was ready to shoot, little Sonic was in the undergrowth. I managed to get this image before he moved out of sight. How cute is this little resident?
