GULL WATCH

I drove my neighbor to the hospital this morning for a minor procedure. While waiting for the call to pick him up, I went to the shoreline of Lake Michigan and photographed gulls.
This is a 2nd year Herring Gull (Larus argentatus); Herring Gulls do not achieve adult plumage until their 4th year. You'll see an adult in the extra photo.
