Tunng & Tinariwen

Ah, what a night. The mighty Tinariwen were in town. Doing a collaboration with English folk rockers, Tunng. A very curious mixture of 2 cultures that really knew very little about each other and, at times each other's music. Pass me a fence, please, cos I wanna sit on it. Mostly good. Occasionally a mess and with flashes of brilliance (mostly from Tinariwen) thrown in, I didn't think it was a wholly successful union. But they tried. And for that they get stars from me. 6/10.
