Aboyne War Memorial

The War Memorial Hall in Aboyne was built in 1924. We had stopped off in Aboyne for a coffee at The Sign off the Black Face Sheep. Feeling rejuvenated by the coffee and an apple spiced cake we were returned to the car. A brief stop to look for sausages at Strachan's proved unsuccessful as they were already closing.

The War Memorial Hall was looking nice with the gathering dusk and the lighting in front of the Hall. There was a fairly light dusting of snow during the night which has not thawed as the day remained cool. The return to Aberdeen was greeted with a bruschetta and a plate of pasta.
