Here be Dragons and Linconshire Yellowbellies too

Lincolnshire was a land of mystery only accessible by a trip on the paddle steamer when we were kids to go to Cleethorpes and Skegness, the dragons were purely imaginary.
We would sit on the foreshore and tell each other tall tales of the other side  of the river.
The Yellowbellies were brides to be, where the tradition was to cover their bellies with gold Sovereigns as a Dowry
