Late evening sun

Bramble and I had a late evening walk in the drizzle , the sun shone as we ambled along this  this green lane and as we reached the end of the path in the photo a rainbow was waiting to greet us. As we got to the car a barn owl appeared from over the trees, swooping, gliding , pouncing and perching . For once I had my binocs with me and so got a really good view . 
On the bread front , it was still moist this morning so had bread and jam to start the day. It has a crumbly texture more like scone than bread , tasty though .
