Clearing weeds

This is Mary Mwanza, our second longest member of staff on the Lusangazi Farm With Monica they are cleating, transplanting rape and growing lettuce.
Close in the backround, on the left is a very valuable plant for nitrogen fixing AND pest control. Further back is an excellent crop of open pollinated maize from Zambia. Most of Malawi is polluted with GM product. At this time of year we have to use raised beds, because of the heavy rains.
